TREES AND PLANNING

Local planning authorities have a statutory duty to consider trees when granting planning permission. When submitting a planning application, if your proposed development could affect trees within or immediately adjacent to your site, you may require assistance from an arboriculturist.

We have extensive experience providing assistance to both the private and public sectors in relation to trees and the planning system, utilising the British Standard Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction -Recommendations (BS5837:2012).

All our planning services meet the requirements set-out in BS5837:2012 and include:

  • Tree Surveys;

  • Baseline Tree Survey Reports;

  • Tree Constraints Plans;

  • Arboricultural Impact Assessments;

  • Tree Protection Plans;

  • Arboricultural Method Statements;

  • Site Monitoring; and

  • Pre-purchase development surveys.

Contact us today for an informal discussion about your project requirements.
